My Experience

As a student during face to face classes, I always do save money whenever their is something to save. My largest saved money during my first year of college was 15k pesos. That's kind of an achievement for me considering the amount that I could only save for a day. When I was in high school, saving was a challenge. We all know that high school was a sucker for money. Events, birthdays, celebrations, they come here and there. So having a little to no amount of money to save was minimal to happen. Sadly the amount of money that I saved during that time right now has been spent. No regrets though. The fact that I end up saving 15k pesos for 10 months was amazing. Always do remember that sacrifices should be done with a purpose. So that in the end, all of the hardships can be considered as a success, not burden.

How to start saving money:

• Buy what you need. Things that are useful in your case
• Never splurged on things
• Coins matter. They will add up once counted
• Have a record of your purchases
• Start as much as possible
• Avoid only shopping. Only use when urgent
